Our apartment, which was modernly renovated in April 2015 (mainly for your own use, therefore very extensively equipped and well maintained) with a terrace, offers you perfect relaxation after / on an action-packed or very cozy day: terrace: partly covered and protected from the wind, with table, chairs, lounger, umbrella and Gas grill equipped - sun position from morning to afternoon!

with a beautiful view of the mountains or the garden, next to it the seating area with 2 leather sofas, table and side table with reading lamp for reading or cozy get-togethers, behind it a wall unit with 2 fold-out, full beds (90 x 200 cm) and a wardrobe, view on TV (with approx. 170 programs from all over the world), a radio with I-Pod / I-Phone-4 connection, WiFi and telephone to the European landline network included
opposite chic, open kitchen area:
with high-quality Miele dishwasher, oven, microwave, large fridge with freezer, raclette, coffee maker, blender, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, lots of storage space for your own utensils / groceries), bedroom with vinyl floor, double bed with comfort mattresses (2 x 90 x 200 cm), large wardrobe, pull-out small desk and TV
next to the apartment door there is a cloakroom and cupboard:
for jackets, shoes, little things, existing vacuum cleaner, brooms and. cleaning utensils
the bathroom:
is equipped with a hygienic Corian shower, toilet, wall radiator for towels, a Corian vanity, a large and a small cupboard and vinyl floorboards
Ski, ski boot, sledge cellar next to the garage available.
The apartment is located in a two-row residential / hotel complex in the valley front house on the ground floor (garden-accessible). The Dorint Hotel is located in the upper block of the house, but there is no sign of its bustle.
The apartment has a parking space in the underground garage, from which you can get to the apartment dry at any time via the stairs (1 floor down) or the elevator (perfect e.g. for luggage or shopping).
Doctor and shops (a small village shop that has pretty much everything you need, including fresh bread / bread, 50 m to the left of the hotel entrance) can be reached on foot or via 3-5 bus stations directly from our bus stop - next to the hotel entrance , There are also various restaurants in the area (Dorint, Alte Schulstube, Gloria, Riedboden, Chilche Pintli restaurants)
The area allows a variety of activities:
Free use of the in-house wellness area with swimming pool, sauna and fitness room (new since 2013), hiking, playing mini golf at the house, scooter-biking from the Niederhorn, cycling (mountain biking or driving in the valley around the lakes - the bus also Bikes transported up again ;-) In many places, bicycles or e-bikes can be hired / handed in, indoor swimming pool in Beatenberg, water sports in all variations on / on Lake Thun, paragliding (jump location at Beatenberg), rafting, playing golf in Interlaken / Unterseen or in Thun, go skiing (on the "Hausberg", the Niederhorn, whose valley station can be easily reached after 2 stops with the bus leaving from the hotel, or in Grindelwald / Wengen / Mürren, the top ski area of the Jungfrau region), winter hiking, tobogganing, cross-country skiing ...

Summary: Apartment was clean and well equipped. Excellent communication and instructions were provided by Andrea. Only downside was that the WiFi didn't work from our room during the last 2 days of our stay. We had to go closer to Dorint hotel reception for it to work

Summary: We stayed for a month and would happily have stayed for another two. Although the mountains across the valley beckoned, we really didn't feel like leaving this sunny plateau with its picturesque chalets.

Summary: We stayed for 5 nights. Can’t get a better value in the area. Andrea had everything clean and organized. She answered our questions immediately. Only 20 minutes down the mountain so it is very central. Best was the view. All amenities of hotel included, couple very good restaurants to eat at. Our experience was perfect. Thank you Andrea!!

Summary: The apartment had all that we needed and had a nice little garden to sit out in. Andrea was a message away if we needed her but we knew the area quite well as we have been to Interlaken/wildswil/ringginberg quite a few times and beatenberg was just as lovely and very quiet and peaceful. 10 out of 10

Summary: Andrea was super flexible & met us upon arrival. Her overview of the apartment & the buildings was very helpful. Having a fully stocked kitchen was super handy, especially the movable island. The apartment was spacious for our family of four. Our kids liked the bunk beds and the view. The underground parking was great.

Summary: We stayed here for the month of July 2022 and had a great time. The apartment was all that was advertised and was perfect for us. The hotel amenities were a great bonus; I loved the pool and spa area. We had to have mail delivered and the hotel was great about this. We also used SBB to transfer our luggage to our August apartment and that worked exceptionally well. We ended up returning our car to the rental agency after our first week, and we were fine using the bus and funicular to get to the lake area and Interlaken! The laundry room of the hotel was really good, 5 CHF per load. Andrea supplied everything needed for the apartment; we cooked a lot of meals and really appreciated the space of the refrigerator and dishwasher. And the water pressure in the shower was fantastic! All in all a great stay!

Summary: Thank you Andrea for having such a beautiful accommodation for us to take advantage of over our 6 day stay. If one is traveling to this area of Switzerland, I do not believe a better apartment is available. We would return without hesitation. The village of Beatenberg is a gem with amazing views of the valley and a smallness that makes a visit a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of traveling. I cannot find one fault with the apartment. We were met by Andrea and given all the information that allowed for comfortable living and touring. She was just great! With the outside living area dedicated to this apartment and the facilities of the hotel - swimming and exercise - available at no additional cost as well as an extra ordinarily well equipped kitchen a traveler could not ask for more. The closeness to Interlaken makes a wonderful opportunity for those who enjoy the larger urban area for walking and shopping. We would return to this apartment without hesitation and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you Andrea for addressing any of our concerns - you are fantastic!!

Summary: Excellent apartment in a beautiful location. Garden has views over the Alps. Host/Owner - answered all my annoying questions before booking. Extremely friendly and very helpful lady. Very helpful after we checked in too. Would have loved to have met Andrea. Apartment - one of the best apartments we have rented in Switzerland. This is our 7th visit to Switzerland. Had everything you needed including Tipex, Cellotape. The lady has gone to lot of trouble thinking what guests will need. Kitchen was roomy and I must say it was better equipped than my own with two of most things. There was even a rice cooker and a fan (very useful). 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, location, Furniture, comfort and equipment. There is a communal garden and you can sit out in the evening. Very peaceful. Car parking - excellent. There is a very useful and reasonably priced village shop 5 mts away (walking distance). Very friendly staff in this shop. We got fresh bread and croissants from here every morning. Funicular station and cable car station is 10 mts walk away. It is about 25mt drive from interlaken. The Beatenberg village has beautiful views over lake Thun and the Alps. We went for lot of walks. There is a hotel next door which has a restaurant but we didn't eat there. Overall 10 out of 10. We will definitely stay again, hopefully soon. Looking forward to our next stay in this apartment and in Beatenberg.

Summary: The apartment rental was super awesome and Andrea is fantastic! We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The rental is located with easy access to everything... it is a 15 minute scenic drive into Interlaken, without the city feel. Perfect! Will stay here again.
